Organisers are seeking session suggestions from music and drama educators with expertise in technology, rock & pop, world music, classical music, curriculum & exams, policy & funding, career development, business & marketing, current educational trends/approaches and new research, mind & body, and SEND & inclusion.

Delegates at the conference include classroom teachers from early years through to KS5; instrumental teachers from beginners to advanced; drama classroom teachers and independent practitioners; management – Heads of Department, Hub Heads and Heads of Music Service; and Higher Education professors.

Submit a session here, where you will also find submission guidelines and FAQs. The deadline for submissions is 14 September 2020.

MA Exhibitions, the organisers of the Music & Drama Education Expos have also had to announce the postponement of the planned MDEE Manchester 2020 to October 2021, and made the following statement regarding submissions for London's show: 'If submissions were made for Manchester 2020, and you would like to re-submit those proposals for London 2021, please note that there is no need to re-write the submission. Simply email mdee@markallengroup.com clearly stating the name of the speaker and the title of the session you proposed – we will retrieve it from the Manchester 2020 submissions and add it for consideration for London. Please note that you must email to be reconsidered, as this process will not happen automatically – we cannot assume that all proposers for Manchester would be free and willing to speak at London 2021 instead.'

After the deadline of 14 September, an advisory board of music and drama education specialists will aid the Heads of Content in planning a two-day programme of workshops, seminars and keynote speeches, performances and fireside chats, all curated to offer an exciting, informative and practical two days in London for thousands of delegates.

Drama Head of Content Sarah Lambie said 'The expo is a highlight for me every year: a wonderful opportunity to see music and drama educators and practitioners coming together, sharing great ideas and participating in fantastic on-the-feet sessions packed with ideas they can take home and implement with their students straight away. London 2021 will be more special than ever, our industry has taken a huge hit this year, and it will be so important to bring teachers together again to share their expertise and inspire each other. Our speakers are second-to-none and I so look forward to reading the many many submissions we hope to receive between now and September.'
