We have developed two new programmes which focus on new digital tools and new mediums in live performance, such as virtual reality and immersive experiences. They will support students to develop the latest technical and visual storytelling skills for a career in Films, Theatre, Gaming or Festivals.

Immersive virtual experiences are increasingly used to enhance our relationship with big brands and deliver the ‘wow’ factor, and theatre, gaming and films are rapidly expanding their use of this developing field.

Our Virtual Theatre and Digital Experiences BA (Hons) programme trains students to become creative technologists – they design and create the next generation of digital theatre and experiences. It is a great time to get involved at the cutting edge of virtual reality, and employers are increasingly looking for candidates with an understanding of how people interact with digital assets and who have the relevant design and technical skills.
