Theatre company Wise Children has launched a new week-long residency for drama educators, with Emma Rice and team

Drama teachers, lecturers and workshop leaders are being invited to apply for a new week-long residency in Frome at the headquarters of Emma Rice’s theatre company Wise Children.
The week-long workshop is specifically designed to meet the needs of teachers, lecturers, youth theatre and workshop leaders. It will be a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the distinctive, playful approach to theatre-making for which Wise Children has become known in their rehearsal space The Lucky Chance in Frome, Somerset.
Attendees will gain hands-on experience at the company’s devising process under the expert guidance of Emma Rice and their music, movement and puppetry directors. The course is designed to equip you with the practical tools to ignite creativity and confidence in your students, and to build a collaborative ensemble
The course runs from 28 July – 1 August in Frome, Somerset, and costs £500.
