Big Data Show to go digital in Scottish schools in September

The Big Data Show, from Scottish theatre company Civic Digits, which featured in a Drama & Theatre Article earlier this year (https://www.dramaandtheatre.co.uk/features/article/please-switch-on-your-mobile-phones) has announced an immersive digital version of the show to be made available in Scottish schools this month.

Edinburgh-based Civic Digits Theatre Company, which focuses its work on what it means to be human in the 21^st century, has been working with a team of multi-talented freelancers on The Big Data Show for almost a year now with the idea for this show in development since 2017. In light of the live theatre performances being cancelled due to the pandemic, the team quickly adapted and reshaped The Big Data Show to a purely online form which offers an inspiring mix of digital magic, educational tricks and eye-opening truths about living in the digital age.
