Boundless to offer under-25s leadership jobs in restructure

The four new leadership roles will be aimed at young people between the ages of 18 and 23, and will be fully paid to allow the company to ‘further embed core principles of co-creation and co-leadership into [its] work’.

Following the confirmation of its national portfolio funding from Arts Council England (ACE), Boundless Theatre has announced it will employ four co-leaders aged 25 and under to share the roles of artistic director, chief executive and executive director.

Led by artistic director and chief executive Rob Drummer and executive director (maternity cover) Ellie Claughton, the organisation creates work with and for audiences between the ages of 15 and 25.

Drummer and Van Piet will continue their roles and work alongside the new co-leaders.

Drummer said: ‘We’re on a fascinating journey at Boundless, which started with establishing our advisory group of 15 to 25-year-olds in 2016, and now includes sharing the two most senior roles in our organisation with those who may not otherwise be taken seriously as leaders.
