The Drama and Theatre Education Alliance (DTEA) has launched plans for Seize The Day 2023, encouraging schools, theatres, arts centres and theatre companies to get involved.

Coinciding with World Performance Week on 20-27 March 2023, the DTEA is building on last year’s campaign with a week of events across the UK in schools and theatres, featuring performances and workshops with children and young people.

Groups are asked to create an event as part of the day and invite their local MP, councillors and press. The event could be a short performance by children and young people,  workshop led by a visiting practitiner, a drama-centred assembly or a professional performance for children.
