Celebrating the publication of 50 Women In Theatre from Supernova Books, a live discussion between female pioneers will take place on 3 October at 6pm. Chaired by Dr Susan Croft, panelists include Michelle Terry, Bryony Lavery, Gabrielle Brooks and Kumiko Mendl.

The new text, 50 Women In Theatre, is a collaborative text with chapters and interviews with female playwrights, artistic directors, directors, management, producers, actors, choreographers, casting, set design, lighting design and more. The contents span across the English-speaking world, including a nod towards women internationally, across gender and sexual identities, dis/ability and class.

The text focuses on powerful women in the world of theatre, and is available for all to read, including students and educators. 50 Women In Theatre covers early female pioneers and rule breakers, through to the hundreds of freelance workers in the theatre industry who lost their jobs due to the pandemic.
