National Theatre Collection releases 10 new filmed productions for schools and colleges

The new offering includes Michela Coel’s Chewing Gum Dreams, the NT’s original film Romeo & Juliet, and Nadia Fall’s verbatim play Home.

The National Theatre has announced that ten more filmed productions will now be available for educational establishments around the world on its virtual NT Collection platform, in partnership with Bloomsbury Publishing and ProQuest.

The new titles include the multi-award-winning new staging of Tony Kushner’s two-part play Angels in America starring Andrew Garfield, Nathan Lane, Denise Gough, Russell Tovey and James McArdle.

The additions also include Michela Coel’s Chewing Gum Dreams, the NT’s original film Romeo & Juliet, Headlong’s collaborative production of Jack Thorne’s After Life with the NT, and Nadia Fall’s verbatim play Home.

Kae Tempest's all-female new take on Greek legend Paradise, Manchester Royal Exchange Theatre’s co-production of Rockets and Blue Lights, Simon Stephen’s adaptation of The Threepenny Opera, and Caryl Churchill’s Top Girls will also be available on the platform.
