Over a hundred teachers from across the UK are coming together to take part in workshops and talks, developing their skills and learning from industry-leading professionals including leading arts organisations and practitioners such as Complicité, Shakespeare North and playwright Alecky Blythe.

The conference is centred around a number of interactive workshops, which will include: exploring contemporary practitoners; improvisation and teaching Shakespeare at KS3 with Shakespeare North; using real world events to create drama with playwright Alecky Blythe; and getting to grips with design, production and technical theatre with the National Theatre Skills Centre.

Applications for this year’s conference have closed; however you can find out more about the event and watch out for the opportunity to apply for next year here: https://www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/learn-explore/schools/drama-teacher-conference.
