The deadline is soon approaching for submissions to National Youth Monologues – a new competition aimed at 9–19 year olds
National Youth Monologues is a new acting competition, supported by the Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) and the Federation of Drama Schools (FDS).
The competition offers a new platform for aspiring actors. Aimed at young people between 9 and 19, it aims to encourage performers from all backgrounds to apply.
The competition features four performance categories: Contemporary, Classical, Screen, and Devised, and submissions will be judged within four age brackets: Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Sixth Form). Entrants are invited to apply through their school, youth group, or individually, and performers can compete in as any categories as they wish.
