The Rose is welcoming a group of six young people aged 18 to 25 year-olds as their first ever Young People’s Board. Applications are currently open for the positions, with submissions taken through 2-minite videos from potential board members.

The change is to encourage young people from a range of backgrounds to develop the venue, providing them with the opportunity to affect positive change and have influence over programming of the theatre.

Lucy Morrell, director of Learning & Participation at the Rose said: ‘Young people are at the very beating heart of the Rose and each year we put members of our renowned youth theatre at the forefront of our critically acclaimed Christmas productions.
