Shakespeare’s Globe Macbeth performing free to state secondary school groups

As part of the long-standing project with Deutsche Bank, Macbeth, directed by Sarah Frankcom, will be showing free to school groups in March.

Marking the 16th anniversary of the Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank project, Shakespeare’s Globe has revealed this year's production will be Macbeth. 

This project provides over 20,000 free tickets for students aged 11–16 from state secondary schools in London and Birmingham, and will show exclusively to school groups between 3 –30 March. Public performances will be held from 19 March – 16 April. 

Eligible schools will also receive free workshops for students, free CPD for teachers, and award-winning online resources to support teaching and studying of Shakespeare plays at GCSE and A Level.
