Blood Brothers by Willy Russell for AQA GCSE

This scheme of work provides a series of introductory exercises on Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers. While it is designed for the AQA specification, it could easily be adapted to suit OCR. The AQA exam asks students to offer suggestions for staging their chosen play from the viewpoint of the actor and designer, while considering carefully its social, political and historical context. It expects them to have a strong grasp of the whole play and to be able to comment authoritatively on the journeys of individual characters.
