Schemes of work

Characters as seen by others

In general, people struggle to see both themselves and others accurately. In drama, this can be a gift and this scheme of work explores how characters see others, which helps develop the depth of characterisation demanded by performance at GCSE. This scheme is divided into six two-hour sessions, where learners play one character as they age, along with playing other roles. There are also links to some of the play texts set by the GCSE exam boards for further character work.
