Improv to Performance

KS 3

Students are familiar with devising or improvising scenes to tell stories, to develop character and to explore issues and themes.
They’re also used to studying set texts, especially to answer written questions at KS4 and KS5 from acting, directing or design perspectives.

This scheme offers ways to turn pure improvisation into pieces fit for an audience beyond their classmates. This is known as Devised Theatre.
