This scheme of work is based on The Iron Man by Ted Hughes. Each of the five lessons actively explores a different chapter. The lessons use a range of drama strategies and conventions, (including teacher in role) and will help students actively to engage and interact with settings and characters, and to explore key moments in the story, from different viewpoints.
