This scheme of work uses The Unravelling as the starting point for exploration of the text as a chosen script, for monologues, and as the inspiration for devised work. It uses the play to explore design, improvisation, devising, on-and-off text work, monologues, duologues, group and ensemble work. The activities in this scheme of work can either take place as you are reading the text or after students have read it.
