Children and young people across the UK can gain free or heavily subsidised training in the performing arts through The Stage Scholarships scheme, this year worth over £160,000.
In a scheme that has been running for more than 30 years, The Stage has partnered with six performing arts schools and training institutions around the country to provide approximately 50 places for young people in drama, musical theatre, and dance.
Writing in The Stage, Paul Vale said, ‘In spite of the difficulties encountered due to COVID-19, there is still a broad selection of partners who are able generously to provide free or heavily subsidised training.’
