Youth Theatre Census 2024 instigates call for submissions

Publish Date: Edit Date:
Youth theatres in England are invited to submit information on their number of participants and staff members, incentivised by a £100 raffle prize.

The 2024 Youth Theatre Census for England is urging those who work with a youth theatre to submit information via an online form.

The census, which has been created and commissioned by a coalition of youth theatres, is gathering information to find out more about what youth theatre looks like in England.

Online it states that the coalition wants to know where youth theatre work is happening, who is doing it, and what people need to make it even better.

This form defines youth theatre as any activity that engages young people aged 5-25 as participants on a non-professional basis in theatre.
