This scheme of work has been written during lockdown, and has been taught as home learning lessons with students completing all tasks and activities remotely. The section on home learning encourages students to prepare work for the lesson and realise their ideas through the practical work in the teaching space. Equally, the home learning sections could become extra lessons in the classroom and you could pick and choose what you wanted to include or discard. Learning objectives: By the end of this scheme students will have learnt - To know and understand the key features of commedia dell'arte - To know and understand the stock characters - To explore ideas for creating devised work - To communicate and develop character and style through practical work - To explore the style of commedia through text.
