The largest network of extra-curricular performing arts schools in the UK, Stagecoach provides singing, dancing and acting coaching for children grouped in ages 4-6, 6-15 and 15+.

In preparation for the Autumn term, Stagecoach has introduced a robust range of safety measures in line with the government guidelines, and has plans to safely reopen 90% of the schools for in-person classes this month.

Feedback from parents of Stagecoach students during lockdown has suggested that children have channeled their creativity to help them through a difficult period. Shirlie Duckworth, mum of students Frankie and Nate said, ‘During lockdown, both of my children genuinely found inspiration linked to their experiences from Stagecoach performing arts. They found home-schooling tedious, so we had Theatre School on a Friday to make the learning at the end of the week more fun.’

A representative from the school said, ‘Extra-curricular activities have always played an important part in children’s development and it has been a challenging time for those who thrive on creativity. The performing arts encourage children to express themselves and use their imagination, helping them with problem-solving later on in life.’
