ATG launches free training programme for global-majority actors

A new 10-week training programme for actors from the global majority has been launched by Ambassador Theatre Group. 

Aimed at those who face barriers in accessing higher education training or getting into the industry, participants will explore weekly training led by industry professionals over the 10 weeks, finishing with a West End showcase at the Ambassadors Theatre to friends, family, and industry.

The scheme has been created in collaboration with the Noel Coward Foundation. 

Representative from Ambassadors Theatre venue management said it was a ‘great privilege’ tp be able to support ‘next wave of theatrical professionals’. They added tha it has ‘enabled the venue to give back to the community and support the next generation of performers that occupy our stage on a daily basis.’

‘We are incredibly grateful to be starting our adventure with the Nöel Coward Foundation and look forward to engaging with many like-minded creative and passionate emerging artists across London,’ they added.
