Mountview to offer Manchester-based course

Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts is to offer a one-year musical theatre foundation course in Manchester.
Training school Z-arts, which is home to many resident companies offering young people activities and performance opportunities, will be hosting the standalone qualification.
Led by actor and teacher Paul-Ryan Carberry, the course will launch in September and provide students with more than 30 hours of teaching each week, ending in April 2023.
Mountview chief executive Abigail Morris said: ‘I’m delighted to be announcing our new Foundation Musical Theatre course in Manchester.
‘We at Mountview are committed to developing opportunities for drama school training outside London so we can increase our accessibility and make our world-class training available to as many and varied people as possible.’
