Trinity College London and Stagecoach Performing Arts have announced a new collaboration.

The announcement means that Stagecoach franchisees will be able to access support from Trinity to establish the qualifications that most closely fit their schools’ teaching, adding to its offering of accredited opportunities.

These franchisees will also be able to access tailored and collaborative professional development opportunities from Trinity at the Sagecoach Annual Conference.

Drama teachers will be able to connect with each other across various networks as part of this collaboration, enriching the performing arts training on offer to young learners across the country.

‘We are thrilled to be working more closely with Stagecoach,’ said Phil Bond, Trinity’s UK and Ireland director. ‘This is an exciting opportunity that formalises the spirit of collaboration that already exists between our two closely aligned organisations and reinforces our commitment to supporting high-quality teaching within the private performing arts sector where Stagecoach plays a highly-regarded and notable role.’

Matt Clark, director of Performance, Production and Partnerships for Stagecoach Performing Arts added: ‘We have had an ongoing relationship with Trinity for many years and it seems natural to be able to look at how we work together more closely to offer new opportunities to our Stagecoach students.

‘Trinity has recognised the educational framework we have implemented at Stagecoach and many of their exams, awards and qualifications complement our product well.’
